The Road's Edge - On the Kimchi Trail Multimedia Video

Here's a first-look at a video that I put together as a "behind the scenes" multi-media short for an article I wrote for Adventure Cyclist Magazine.  It's about the bike tour I did around Korea last Fall with my partner in crime, G-Mack. The article comes out in the March issue of the Mag.

It's in High-Def., so select that option if you have a fast connection and expand the viewer to full-screen.

And please do take advantage of the free language lesson, "how to speak Korean in 3 hours or less."

Cheers,

G

the road's edge - Mermaids of Jejudo

one of the special things about traveling by bicycle is that movement takes places on the outside edge...in the places between the places.   it's not so much about machu picchu or angkor wat but the unexpected bits tucked between the folds of the journey.  over the years, I've met some of the most interesting people because i was moving at a pace that allowed for two-way observation.

i've decided to share some of my encounters with the people I've met on the side of the road in a regular blog entry called the road's edge
First up--the living sea goddesses of South Korea's Jejudo Island--haenyeo.
